Summary/Abstract: The author is presenting and describing some archaeological discoveries from Balda (the Mureş district): an Eneolithic copper axe discovered in the topographical point of "Glodeţ" (figure 2/1); two vessels belonging to the Coţofeni culture, from the period of transition to the Bronze Age (figure 2/ 2, 3), found in the topographical point called "Dâlma lui Bugli" and two vessels from the Noua culture (figure 3/1, 2) found in the zone of the above mentioned point, a Roman amphora (figure 3/3) discovered in the North-Eastern part of the village. Until the presented discoveries, there were not known any archaeological vestiges in the area of the locality.
