Summary/Abstract: In this paper we analyse the main types of errors made by Romanian students in the initial stages of studying the French language. After a short presentation of the theoretical concepts in the field, we suggest a classification of these errors depending on the context in which they occur, and we highlight the interferences-based errors, particular to a certain linguistic group.
