The role of reason and of the cause in the process of argumentation

Summary/Abstract: We wish to show that two major types of thinking (common thinking and positive or scientific thinking) interfere differently with the two extra-linguistic realities—reason and cause. Our research is based on the theory of argumentation. The notions of truth and cause operate in the field of social sciences and prove that moral feelings, beliefs, and decisions are products of argumentation. The image of the common and positive thinking with regard to the notions of truth and cause justifies the beliefs in their actions.
