Summary/Abstract: In the beginning of the 21st century the mobile learning was still described as a new concept. Now, only ten years later, it is considered as a common and, in many cases, an indispensable learning technology. The application of mobile technologies in education is stimulated by their unceasingly lowering costs and improving capabilities, as well as by the increasing need to be connected and learn at any place and time. This development led to the necessity of creating tools for rapid and easy creation, delivery and, especially in large organisations, management and additional capabilities, concerning learning content for mobile devices – mobile learning tools. The purpose of this paper is to present a comparison between products of a specific kind of mobile learning tools, which, though differently named – mobile learning platforms, mobile learning solution providers, etc., are tools, providing support for virtually all stages of mobile learning development.
