Summary/Abstract: Creativity represents a key factor in a successful learning process. As a reaction to the inflexible software programmes which force learners to work in their virtual private space without the freedom of being creative, there were issued new capacities for the e-learning environments. In this paper, we identify and analyze “creativity triggers”, which facilitate creative learning in the virtual collaborative learning space. The most difficult task in achieving creative computer-supported collaborative learning environments (CCSCLE) is to model and integrate “creativity triggers” in the elearning software. Taking into account the advantages of using creative computer-supported collaborative learning environments in higher education and long life learning programmes, we develop a fuzzy system to enhance learners’ creativity by augmenting it with more “creativity triggers”.
