Summary/Abstract: Rumyana Radkova puts forward an article, called "Letters, written quickly. Letters from Todor Burmov, written during the Russian-Turkish War 1877-1878". Very valuable documents from the archive of T. Burmov in the Bulgarian Historical Archive at the National Library "St. Kiril and Methodius" are his letters to his wife Maria Zolotovich. They are from the time when he was a clerk in the Citizens' office at the Headquarters of the Russian army and are from May 1877 till March 1878. Despite the personal experiences and moods, in the 13 published letters one can find comments by Todor Burmov about the command of the Russian army, information about the first steps in the administration arrangement of the liberated Bulgarian lands, about the Bulgarians in charge in the new districts, characteristics of some of his friends and associates and many more.
