Summary/Abstract: The contemporary society is constantly raising new educational tasks, new challenges due to the explosive evolution in all the domains. Therefore, the integration of the computer in education becomes mandatory, and the cybernation of the scholar structures will have as formative objectives of highest relevance: perfecting the continuous mental exercise and forming a methodical, algorithmic and systematic thinking. It becomes therefore an imperative of our times that in its evolution pedagogy should seek the identification and the examination of maximum models concerning the harmonization of theoretical preparation for knowledge and practical preparation for competences. Regardless the level of the instructive-educative process, the impact of the computerized instruction can be analyzed from the perspective of four specific functions, consolidated with four applicative directions related to the entire educational system: the computer-assisted institutional management, the computer-assisted education, the computer-assisted formation and the computer-assisted testing / verification. The instability of the contemporary world determines permanent changes and, as a result, the education for changes has been assigned the task to mold the personality as an agent of change and a responsible actor of the change’s quality.
