Summary/Abstract: This paper identifies and examines the competitiveness position of Polish agriculture among other European Union members regarding trade (basing upon trade indicators and position in international goods exchange) as well as effectiveness (basing upon productivity coefficients). Data from official European Union statistics (EUROSTAT) are the main information source used in analysis concerning 2007-2011 years. The survey showed that Poland proved comparative advantages in food commerce and current capital productivity taking into consideration examined period.
