Summary/Abstract: The level of the radionuclide pollution of the agricultural production of the trade-, farm-, private- and other subsidiary establishments in the radioactive polluted zone is evaluated in the article. On the basis of the state hygienic standards, the allowed levels of the specific activities of the radioactive nuclide content in the foodstuff are observed. The main reasons of the radionuclide pollution of the agricultural production were determined. There were proposed the measures as for mitigation of the consequences of the Chernobyl catastrophe for the development of the agricultural enterprises with the orientation for the ecologically safe agricultural production and the minimization of the radionuclide export outside the polluted region. The priorities of the suggested tasks were determined. Those are as follows: returning of the agricultural farmsteads into the circulation of the alienation and resettlement zones; necessity of correlation of the taking into account plough-lands, natural meadows and the other pastures; importance of the quantitative correlation investigations of the strontium and caesium chain: «soil – plant (feed) – agricultural livestock – live-stock production». It is determined that the most effective measure is the specialization of the agricultural husbandry in production of goods with the low radionuclide level, cooperation and also processing of agricultural raw materials directly by the producer.
