Summary/Abstract: The diversity of cultural contexts generates the problem of the participants’ linguistic security to the act of communication. The competence of intercultural communication represents a complex of psychorelational, cognitive and linguistic factors, and the formation as well as the development of this competence implies the decentering capacity, i.e. the transition from a narcissistic perspective to an integrative one.
