Summary/Abstract: “Miklós Boda’s work represents continuity in the scientific life of Pécs in many respects; he continued his research on a standard worthy of the university even in a town deprived of its faculty of humanities, together with his fellow researchers. He was also given the possibility to take part in the education and the scientific life of the reviving humanities in Pécs.” The study examines the omnibus volume of the historian emphasising the writings concerning the history of the university in the middle ages, Hungarian humanism and Janus Pannonius, and the researches in the famous Klimó Library.
