Summary/Abstract: “For him the boundary is not between verse and prose but between different modes of speech.” Endre Kukorelly is a determining figure of the middle generation of contemporary Hungarian poetry, who strives to create the loftiness of lyrical speech from the elements of everyday, deteriorated speech. The present writing analyses his 2001 volume.
