Results Of Recent Research At Archaeological Site Mediana

Summary/Abstract: This paper is a short review of archaeological excavations conducted at the archaeological site Mediana, near the city of Niš. It presents the most important results of the latest geophysical surveys conducted in April 2010. During the surveys, an area of 16 hectares was surveyed, especially to the east from the villa with a peristyle. An object identified as a military camp was discovered, which is suggestive of similarities with the confirmed military camps at Diana and Čezava sites.
