Summary/Abstract: This paper considers falling accents and their distribution in the grammars of B/C/S language. The realization of the task is limited to five grammars: Gramatika hrvatskoga ili srpskoga knjiievnog jezika, Savremeni srpskohrvatski jezik I, Hrvatska gramatika, Gramatika bosanskoga jezika i Gramatika hrvatskoga jezika. Research has shown that all the grammars are following the rules about distributing the falling accents on the first syllable and not to be found inside or on the last syllable of the word. Examples of the descending intonation on some of the internal syllables in words belong to colloquial style in language.
