Summary/Abstract: This is a description of two daguerreotypes connected with Poland and located in the Musée de Bretagne in Rennes and the Polish Library in Paris. The first is a likeness of Benjamin-Alexandre Latour, an oficer in the army corps of engineers. It is signed “felix de | Nantes” and was made in the studio of Józef Feliks Zieliński (1808-78) and Jakub Garbowski (1811-78), probably before 1848 in Angers. The second daguerreotype is of unknown origin and was probably made in 1860 in Freiburg; it is a likeness of Wiktor and Marie Louise Jundziłł.
