Summary/Abstract: The contemporary Lithuanian poets use the advertising clichés in order to ironically rewrite them so that they could put into words the critical point of view to the consumer society, to the stereotype point of view typical of it. Nevertheless, the poems occur among the youngest poets, where the motifs of stereotype advertising are not to be directly related to the public criticism. The article analyzes the cases of use of the creative advertising clichés and motifs in several poems by the poets of different generations: Marcelijus Martinaitis, Aidas Marčėnas, Sigitas Parulskis, Mindaugas Valiukas, Gvidas Latakas, Mantas Balakauskas.
