Sources of Work Stress Inventory in Probation: Construction and Psychometric Properties

Summary/Abstract: The paper describes the architecture and the psychometric features of the Stress Factors Inventory for Probation Officers. The assessment of psychometric features of this scale has been focused on its reliability, relevance and its discriminating power. Research subjects were probation officers who work in the territory under the competence of the Regional Court of Praga-Południe District, the Regional Court in Warsaw and the Regional Court in Włocławek. The research results have shown a high reliability and relevance of the analyzed diagnostic tool.
