Summary/Abstract: The aim of the presented study is the assessment of the innovativeness of particular food industry classes in Poland conducted on the basis of statistical methods for linear objects grouping. In the study there were used unpublished statistical data characterising the innovativeness of enterprises conducting economic activity in particular branches of the food industry.
