Summary/Abstract: In the knowledge society the development of economic theory and practice in logistics, in general, has a direct impact on the military domain of this type. The aforementioned changes cause multiple and major mutations in the military logistics that is in permanent connection with economic logistics. The interaction between the processes of economic management and those from the sphere of military logistics creates a modern approach to logistics management in the context of creating the conditions for achieving the objectives of interoperability with occidental military structures. Through relevant issues, we have attempted to treat only the essential aspects of logistics and logistics management in the economic and military fields in terms of effectiveness and efficiency
