Summary/Abstract: A Slovak National Theatre drama protagonist, an actress Soňa Valentová, was a wife of P. Haspra, the director. Her special reminiscence reminds the final phase of the director´s life, his fight against the malicious sickness. He was resisting until the last moment, preparing for the staging of Dostoyevsky Dedina Stepančikovo (The Village of Stepantchikovo) which was to be studied by the troupe in connection to his life jubilee.
