Summary/Abstract: This article deals with the analysis of the current Turkish Foreign Policy towards the Middle East-ern countries, such as Israel, Syria, Iran and Iraq within the theory of the Hegemonic Stability. Ac-cording to this theory, a hegemonic power, which has the objective of formation and establishment of a regional order, urges other countries to share the burden of the forming and managing costs. It is here argued that, the Turkish foreign policy aiming to build up a Sunni front against the Shia states is in line with USA’s interests to develop a Greater Middle East.
