Summary/Abstract: The analysis of conditions sufficient and necessary for professional competency development in students trained at higher pedagogical educational institution is presented. The category of competence is understood as a personal component associated with the ability to reach significant results, taking into account new set of values inherent to professional activity, and revealed in the ability to solve professional problems in real-life situations of professional context. The process of professional competency development is considered through integration of informative and professional motives. The process of integration is achieved in the course of professional training consisting of three stages – 1–2 year of study, the 3rd year, and the 4th year of study. Each stage is characterized by the originality of the content, employment of pedagogical technologies, and organization of educational process, i.e. it is connected to construction of certain conditions. There are two sets of conditions necessary for professional competency development – organizational-pedagogical and didactic. Dynamics of professional competency development in students during educational process is determined by the ability to solve academic tasks revealing knowledge of the theory and ability to solve practical professional assignments, as well as by students’ inclusion into trainings, case analysis, and etc.
