Summary/Abstract: The world nowadays is characterized by swiftt and dynamic changes in international relations. The world economy has had a tendency towards integration since the beginning of its creation, namely towards creating a unique global market. Economic integration emerged as a link between national markets and the world market, and represents a long-term and reliable connection between countries, with the aim of creating economic, political and other relations, as well as finding ways for more efficient cooperation between economic entities in the countries involved in the process of integration. The influence of globalization is a result of historic processes, political, economic, scientific and technological changes, and it reflects in tight, increased functional connection and interdependance of all participants on the world scene. Globalization is a kind of common denominator of values of the modern society and nations which steer the universal wheel of market, technological, economic, legal, political and social progress of the mankind towards creating a unique world community, with all the challenges, problems and difficulties which inevitably follow that kind of social changes.
