Views of The Students Attending 6th and 7th Grades of Primary Schools on Turkish Subject Homeworks

Summary/Abstract: This study aims at identifying views about homeworks given at Turk-ish lesson by students attending 6th and 7th grades of primary schools. The screening model was applied in the research. While the universe of the study consists of students who attend 6th and 7th grades of all primary schools in Yakutiye, Erzurum, the pattern of the study consists of 202 students from the same level, and from different schools, who were chosen by a simple random pattern technique. The datum of study collected with the survey titled “Students’ Views about Turkish Lesson Homeworks”. The received datum was analyzed by the “t” test and “chi square”. According to the consequences, there are significant differences in students’ views about homeworks, in ac-cordance with their gender and success levels.
