Summary/Abstract: Current studies on the physical situation of the town Develi in history are mostly tabulations of architectural structures and/or their identi-fication. There is no any unique study on the spatial setup of the town in the pre-Turkish period or urban structure in the Turkish era. This article aims at compensating this case and examining spatial setup of the town formed during the Saljukid era. The article is composed of two main parts. In the first part, data derived from the primary writ-ten sources are introduced in order to have a sound understanding of the urban setup in those times. The sources include not only those be-longing to the Saljukid era, but also Ottoman records like land ownership census and compendium books. Under the light of the ava-ilable information, architectural structures composing the municipal fabric of the town were fixed. The second part backed by a terrain investigation, deals with evaluation of positions of those architectural artifacts.
