Summary/Abstract: This article is focused on the special connection between the ideas of philosophy and different cultural and social attitudes in the interwar period in Bulgaria. The exclusive role of the first Bulgarian philosophical journal – Filisofski pregled /Philosphical Review (1929–1943) is discussed. The article presents some characteristic features of the national culture expressed by neglecting theoretical and philosophical knowledge.
