Summary/Abstract: In the Czechoslovak Republic, between 1918 and 1939, there were several museum and related institutions that reflected the presence of the Jewish minority. This reflection took on various forms – from private or association-based collecting of Judaica and of items directly related to the Jewish religion and life within Jewish communities to similar, non-Jewish activities connected with growing interest in the Holy Land and, indirectly, with the Jewish religion; driving motives that lead to the founding of the afore-mentioned institutions;
