Summary/Abstract: The physical pain is a particular type of communication where the message is started within the invalid tissues and the reception is based on the psychological structures of individuals. Within the psychological structures, the physical pain is generating complex feelings. The physical pain alerts about troubles and asks interventions aimed to restore the body’s homeostasis. The individual in pain is proceeding to answer to the pain or to ask for support from family or from professionals. The individual in pain is looking for an adequate answer to the message of pain. Within the medical services in Romania very often the health careers ignore the pain complains of the patients. 33 health careers from a hospital in Romania, 12 nurses and 21 medical doctors, answered a questionnaire of 17 questions based on the attention paid to the complains of patients for physical pains. The data were collected during October November 2007. The results are helping better understanding of the human quality of the medical services in Romania.
