Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to the activities of Boris Pasternak as an interpreter – one of the greatest interpreters of the twentieth century. Its aim is to present the opinions of researchers on the overall vision of the Soviet literary translation and analysis of selected works of Polish literature. In addition, the concept will be presented on theconcrete implementation of the strategy of translation. Based on historical and literary theoretical exemplification and analysis of selected translations, a general thesis on the theoretical layers of the issues discussed in the work will be offered. There will also be presented a proposal to define the terminology of specific strategy of interpreting – revitalisation.
