Summary/Abstract: Social Partnership and their Actors in the Czech and Slovak Republics. The paper analyzes development of relationships and institutions of social partnership with stress on the context of transformation of social sphere in the CR and in SR. On the basis of the analysis of documents (statutes, programmes and priorities of the activity), legislative and institutional changes and non-standard interviews with representatives of institutions concerned (Government, Employees and Employers Associations) we studied the development after the split of federation. In the CR there prevails neoliberal politics, characterized with certain distrust to the mediating role of the institutes of civil society, including institutes of social partnership at the macro-level. In Slovakia there prevails more a social-democratic approach with arising elements of neo-corporatism.
