Summary/Abstract: Ahmed Şemseddin-i Marmaravi was born in the province of Manisa, in Gölmarmara districtand he spent the large part of his life at this native region. Şemseddîn-i Marmaravî is believed to have lived during the reign of II. Murad, Fâtih Sultan Mehmed and II. Bayezid andis known to be the founder of the Ahmediyye-i Halvetiyye sect referred to as “Middle Arm”. He played an active role in resolving the social and religious problems in his life time and was rewarded by devlet-i aliyye (State Authority). His texts written in simple Turkish Language in the style of Yunus Emre are considered among the richest materials of the Turkish Language and Literature. All his literary works have mystical content and are written in a didactic manner. It is our contention that he is not acclaimed enough, although a number of articles were written about the life of Marmaravî and also some thesis were studied on his oeuvre. In this study, we briefly touched on the life of Marmaravî and his studies and also tried to provide the mystical interpretations especially for the issue of “ricalullah” related to his text entitled as “Ahvâlü’l-Ebrâr ve’l-Mukarrebîn” . We have taken some parts of the literatures of the researchers in this field, especially from the literatures of Ahmet Ögke and so we aimed to draw the attention of the readers on these texts.
