Summary/Abstract: The article deals with a reflection of body and corporality in the Slovakian Renaissance literature. The basis is a detachment of dominant motive levels into naturally-physiological and spiritual platforms. According to these levels the article is subdivied into parts: Body as a sin, Body as a object of love, Heart - the seat of emotions and Body in the fight. It is built on the interpretation of poetic texts which are the basis for further thinking and conclusions.
