Summary/Abstract: This article deals in detail with the role and work of a lecturer in Czech language and literature on the Uuniversity of Economics in Vienna. It focuses on the very subjects, starting with courses for beginners, followed by Czech for Economy courses and lectures about the Czech Rrepublic, its history, culture and present situation. The article is also dealing with the recommended study literature, study materials and methods with a special focus on the pictorial teaching/learning material and some less traditional methods in the Czech courses such as the inscenation method.
