Management of environmental activities of enterprises

Summary/Abstract: This article deals with the research of environmental activities arising from sustainable development demands on two levels. The first one reflects the state politics of environment, when the state influences the behavior of individual economic subjects with the help of the implementation of different environmental protection tools. The second level observes the environmental activities of a company. Attention is focused on the usage of alternative energy sources. The economic pros and cons of usage of these sources are studied with regard to current legislation in the Czech Republic.
