Summary/Abstract: The contribution analyses narratological impulses for theology, such as their characteristics and their (im)possibility of integration into the theological system. Narratological impulses in textual analysis have expanded the analytical approaches of contemporary Biblical exegesis, which has rediscovered the meaning of Biblical narratives and their interior narrative conventions by using narratological terminology. Narrative theology has noted that this type of analysis of Biblical texts enables a more differentiated interpretation. On the basis of works especially from the German protestant theological literature, the contribution aims to show how theological disciplnies (Biblical studies, systematic theology, practical theology) have engaged with literary narratology.
