Summary/Abstract: In the article „A Sound of a Flying Seagull”, professor Horea Murgu describes his experience working with Mr. Ciulei in the `70`s at „The Seagull” when they agreed that the sound design is completely different in theatre and cinema. A cinema sound designer can make the sound of a performance only if he regards himself as being a little bit of a scenographer and an actor. In theatre the sound is „the fourth dimension”, a psychological and a spritual one.
