Summary/Abstract: Today society is under the consequences of globalization processes so socialization problems of children and youth become more complicated and the class tutor hasn’t got enough competencies or efforts to handle them alone. It means, that social pedagogical aid team is necessary for the solution of complex social pedagogical problems in the comprehensive school. The effectiveness of the work of social pedagogical aid team belongs on the selection of it’s’ team members. Many foreign and Lithuanian scientists underlined one or other aspect of social pedagogical problem while exploring the processes of social pedagogical interaction and analyzing separate social pedagogical problems. There is the lack of researches of social pedagogical aid team work in educational institutions that would answer the questions: how the social pedagogical aid team model corresponding children contemporary needs of social pedagogical aid should be formed in the comprehensive school and what educators have to work in the social pedagogical aid team. For this reason, composition of the social pedagogical aid team and selection criteria of the team members in comprehensive school is discussed in the article. The research has been organised in two stages. Lithuanian social pedagogues have been interviewed on purpose to identify the attitude of social pedagogues to the team composition and selection criteria. 444 social pedagogues of Lithuania have been questioned. On the basis of analysis of the scientific resources and answers of social pedagogues, hypothetical social pedagogical aid team model has been designed. In the second stage, four teams working in different comprehensive schools is observed and interviewed for one year in order to identify selection criteria and responsibilities of team members that are functioning in educational reality.
