The subject of investigation is the correlations of stress paradigms of nouns within zones of large, medium and small frequency. The frequency of stress paradigms of nouns is being discussed on the basis of computerized iterative dictionaries of scientific, professional, journalese and fiction styles. The following conclusions have been drawn. The most frequent within Lithuanian texts of different styles are root stress nouns except fiction style where the number of root stress nouns is slightly higher than the number of nouns stressed at the ending. The most frequent within Lithuanian texts of different styles are nouns of 1-stress paradigm stressed on a penultimate syllable. The penultimate syllable of 2-stress paradigm has mainly rising accent. Within 3-stress paradigm more frequently used is 3b type (except fiction). Frequency of stressed nouns within Lithuanian texts of different styles varies most in fiction texts.
