Summary/Abstract: Postmodernity with its virtues and shortcomings reveals before the adults the need and necessity of religious education. The sources of religion support people to implement tasks of adulthood. In the Polish reality, it is usually referring to the Christian religion. Religious education for adult generally provide knowledge about the sources of religious. The knowledge helps them in finding a proper place in the world. In the Catholic Church the religious education for adult has its own centuries-old tradition. Their the main source is Bible. Exploring the Bible, people can deepens their religious life, developing relationships with other people, makes evaluation of their behavior and look their life reality in a new way.
