Summary/Abstract: The author’s intention is not to pretentiously impose some ready to use creative solutions, rather she aims at encouraging teachers to join in the initiative to exchange experiences and ideas as this exchange process often tends to generate new, better and original ideas. However, before any concrete creative solutions can be created, certain preconditions for a dynamic and (inter)active teaching process must be met. The article also details advantages of group work, creative ideas for its implementation (starting with group formation techniques and group task assignment) and the advantages of the so-called rotating forms of work. Settings that block creative expression are explained (causing cultural, perceptive and other types of blockages) as well as recommendations on how to release one’s inner creativity. The article concludes that teachers who are themselves not creative nor are trying to become creative cannot successfully develop this trait in their students.
