Summary/Abstract: Surrealism is more popular than ever. There are so many events dedicated to this movement following one another. The event which took place in Paris in the Center Pompidou from 6th March to 24th June 2002. attracted thousands of visitors. It was called A Surrealist Revolution. This event was followed by many others which had a very powerful cultural influence. In the period between the two wars, there were many provocative events, the last was in 1920. Dadaism followed Surrealism; it explored the new ways to liberate a man, indicated and experienced by the Romanian Surrealist poets. Later, in Bucharest, poets Gherasim Luca and Dolfi Trost were very wary as far as esthetic deviations were concerned: “Transformation of Surrealism in an esthetic movement will end its theoretical development and put it at risk of sharing the same fate as all rebellious movements...” You will profit from this article for it will bring you back to the forgotten paths of Surrealism which cross between Paris and Bucharest, in order to, like Rimbaud said “change your life”.
