Summary/Abstract: This paper presents available data оn Caesar Vojihna with аn аom to check whether the claim that he was the "governor of Drama" is justified. Vojihna undoubtedly had а residence in Drama, 'but the territory he ruled over was much larger its eastern frontier reached as far as Christopolis' gorges; it also included lands under Belasica and below the river Strymon. Тhe Caesar was subordinated to the Dowager empress Helen - Elisabeth; he was а pil1ar supporting her rule. Не helped the rise of John Ugljesa, who succeeded him as Despot and, having pushed the empress into background, bесаmе the independent ruler of the whole territory.
