Summary/Abstract: The issue of teacher training is not a new one in the specific literature, but when we talk about the needs of education and the individualization of the teacher education programmes, maybe we shall have some interesting ideas to share. This paper presents a set of remarks useful for the Teachers education policy, starting from the findings of an empirical study about the in-service Physical Education and Sports teachers training. Professional satisfaction has always been one of the most important variables for the achievement of good results, of performance at work. Thus, our study aims at identifying the degree in which the continuing education trainings programs increase or not the professional satisfaction of these teachers. The conclusions of our article are developed under the idea of increasing the quality of the teachers education programs using models which follows the professional needs of the teachers; these could have a concrete impact on professionals for having better teaching activities all over the country.
