Concerning Petr Hrubý’s Recollections of the Periodical Skutečnost

Summary/Abstract: In his remarks, Milan Drápala, the Editor-in-Chief of Soudobé dějiny, briefl y returns to the memoir-based article of Petr Hrubý, “Český realismus v exilu: O časopise ‘Skutečnost’ (1948–1953),” published in the last issue of Soudobé dějiny (2007/4, pp. 744–56). Drápala reports that the Editorial Board of the journal does identify with the subjective critical claims the author makes against Meda Mládková in connection with personal quarrels related to the publishing of Skutečnost in the early 1950s.
