Summary/Abstract: In UNESCO’s report on education in XXI century, the education is represented as resting on four elements, the four basic components of education: learning to know, to do, to live with others and learning to be.1 These four complementary roles of education are inseparable from each other, and converge towards the emancipation of the individual is itself regarded as the ability to participate in a full citizenship in an open and democratic society.
