Summary/Abstract: The objective of the article is to compare two stories about journeys to Poland – graphic novel We won’t see Auschwitz of Jérémie Dres and a short novel of Henri Raczymow – Ten « polish » days. The author tries to analyse two diff erent ways of building a jewish memory of French immigrants during their visit and to compare two perceptions of Warsaw, Cracov and « jewish emptiness ». The results of this analysis allow to make important remarks about transgenerational transformations in memory structure.
