The issue of the reception of a work of art - The study of the dolls of Hans Bellmer

Summary/Abstract: The text presents a proposal to understanding work of art as being expressed in abjection. With works of art, the recipients can create their own identity. It is crystallizes by the recipient’s contact with their imago. By Aha-Erlebnis phenomenon they can identify with the work, which becomes a kind of recipient’s Ego mirror. Issues will be discussed on the example of Hans Bellmer’s Dolls, which by their form and presentation are part of the abject problem described by Julia Kristeva.
