Professional counseling at schools during the interwar period in Poland

Summary/Abstract: There is a small amount of publication about professional counseling during the interwar period in Poland. The main aim of the article is to present basic activities of school practice, methods and foreground tasks and jobs people, of those who gave professional advice of choosing a career. The author of the article wants to accent the special roles of the school’s physicians, psychologists and pedagogues. It is interesting to picture also the primal mainstreams and ideas which impacted on formation of school counseling in that time.
