European Union Policy towards the outermost regions

Summary/Abstract: This article will be presented the European Union’s approach to the outermost regions. The basis to considerations of evolution of this policy is taking the definition and the short characteristic of this regions (location, population, level of economic development). Then discuss the basics Treaty, the objectives and the amount of funds allocated for their implementation. Historically, will be presented change of approach in the implementation of regional policy and cohesion in these regions through the analysis of acts of the institutions of the Union.
