PREREQUISITES FOR ENTERPRISE MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM REENGINEERING

Summary/Abstract: This paper focuses on describing factors that determinate decisions on corporate systems reengineering. The first part describes main factors that cause changes in contemporary information management systems. Key elements that have to be considered are changes in approach to enterprise management, organization changes and innovations in technology. The goal of the second part of the paper is to define information systems reengineering and identify the main prerequisites and circumstances that justify decisions on starting this process in an organization.
